Our Mission: To do whatever may be necessary to help aging persons achieve the highest possible quality of living through: Enabling the integration of the senior citizen into all facets of the community; the provision of services to meet the special needs of the senior citizens; the coordination of services to the senior citizens.
We are registered in Alberta as a Charitable Society and is managed by a Volunteer Board of Directors. The Office is staffed on a volunteer basis and consists of 4 Executive members and 1 Administrative Assistant (part-time). The Camrose and District Seniors Centre manage the programs and activities provided at the Centre and funds all the operational costs including rent, janitorial, and some maintenance You will find that the annual membership fee is reasonable, with minimal drop in fees for most activities. Nav-CARE is a free volunteer navigation program that supports people with declining health to live well and independently at home for as long as possible. Like a helpful neighbour or friend, our specially-trained volunteer navigators visit you in your home regularly, focusing on enhancing quality of life through companionship, support, connections, and building capacity. We carefully match navigators and participants based on goals of service, likes, and dislikes, creating meaningful connections that make a difference. We are a part of Camrose & District FCSS.

Our services are designed to enhance the lives and well-being of older adults (55+) and seniors in our community. Services include: Senior’s CHOICES, funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Age Well at Home Initiative, Nav-CARE, Meals On Wheels, HomeMaker Services, Medical Transportation, Older Adult Support Worker, and Navigation. Senior's CHOICES, funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Age Well at Home Initiative, is a comprehensive program, available to residents of the City of Camrose, Camrose County, and the County of Flagstaff, that enhances the well-being of seniors facing health challenges, loneliness and social isolation. Compassionate care in seniors Homes that provide them with Opportunities to maintain their Independence while Connecting and Engaging them with resources and Services. Supports include, yard card, snow removal, household maintenance, local transportation, as well as, errand and grocery pickup. Qualifying for Senior’s CHOICES is based on Line 15000 of your previous year’s Income Tax Return. The income cut off is $30,000 for single occupant households and $50,000 for double occupancy households. We are a part of Camrose & District FCSS.
