Role Description
As an Administrative Support volunteer, you are supporting us to maintain smooth and efficient office operations in order to better serve the community. Your role may include tasks such as:
- Electronic data entry
- Paper filing & organization
- Assisting volunteer applicants navigate screening procedures
- Administering client/volunteer surveys or program evaluations
- Other general office support for special events or projects

Goals of Service
Our mission is to design and deliver social support services that inform and improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Our variety of support services focus on preventing problems before they require crisis support. We prioritize early intervention to address issues before they escalate, aligning with the prevention strategies outlined by the provincial FCSS Grant Program. This approach enables us to apply these strategies in a manner that meets the unique needs of our local community.
Time Commitment
Volunteer hours for this position are flexible & dependent on task availability.
Volunteer Requirements
As an Administrative Support volunteer, you will need the following:
- A Volunteer Application Form
- Police Information Check
- Copy of Photo Identification
Training will be provided depending on the task at hand.

Step 2: Meet With Volunteer Coordinator
We'll discuss your options and address any questions. After that, we'll contact your references. If everything is in order, you'll need to apply for a police information and vulnerable sector check.
Step 3: Complete
Training
Once accepted, you will need to read our volunteer handbook, and complete training to prepare you for your volunteer role.
