Program Coordinator
The Camrose & District FCSS – Family Services is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the following fulltime (Maternity Leave - may be extended): Program Coordinator.
We are seeking an individual who will provide prevention and early intervention support to children, youth and parents within the Camrose & Area Family Resource Network. This position will provide intakes, supported referrals, navigation services and implementation of programs through our Building Resilient Caregivers, and Child and Youth spoke services, supporting family well-being, resilience and healthy child development. This position will work with families who are experiencing universal, targeted and intensive needs. This application may be kept for consideration of future openings.

- Strong casework skills including intake, referrals, navigation of systems, follow up and family support.
- Facilitation and implementation of evidence-based programs for families with children of all ages within the following locations: City of Camrose, and the Counties of Camrose, Flagstaff and Beaver.
- Enjoy connecting with parents/caregivers and providing the individual support they request.
- Possess the abilities to work successfully in a team environment, within our agency and the Camrose & Area Family Resource Network.
- Able to build partnerships and maintain them with other agencies.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Parent workshop facilitation.
- Provide screening support using the Ages and Stages Developmental tool.
- Maintaining accurate statistics.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in human services and/or equivalent training and experience.
- Ability to work with parents and children from a diverse cultural, gender and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated skill in engaging with families, and building positive partnerships.
- Highly developed case management and facilitation skills.
- Training in a variety of parent education programs would be an asset, but will train.
- Working knowledge of the communities we serve and their resources.
- Highly developed interpersonal/communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Child Intervention Record Check and Criminal Record Check required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
