Flubber
- 1 ½ Cups warm water
- 2 cups white glue
- A few drops of food coloring
- 1 1/3 Cups warm water
- 3 teaspoons borax
In one container mix 1 1/2 cups warm water, white glue and a few drops of food coloring. In a second container mix 1 1/3 cups of warm water and Borax. Mix the Borax mixture into the glue mixture until combined. (may be some liquid in bottom of container). Place Fubber on a tray and let stand for a few minutes before playing with it! Store Flubber in an airtight container or a zip lock bag. It should last at least 2 weeks. Flubber can be stretched. You can write on it with a magic marker. You can make shapes out of it with cookie cutters or stencils. It's a GREAT way to keep kids occupied!
Kool-Aid Play dough
- 3 cups flour
- ½ cup salt
- 2 Kool-Aid packages
- 2 cups boiling water
Mix dry ingredients together. Add boiling water. Knead on floured board. Can add flour by sprinkling it until desired consistency is reached. This play dough will last for about 2 months when stored correctly in an air tight container.
Salt Play dough
- 1-cup salt
- 1-cup water
- ½ cup flour
Mix together and cook over medium heat. Remove from heat when mixture is thick and rubbery. As the mixture cools, knead enough flour in to make dough workable.
