T.I.P.S. is a preventative program promoting independence, parenting skills and good nutrition for pregnant women and families with preschool children facing multiple barriers. Information on parenting, pregnancy, labour and delivery, nutrition, breastfeeding, child development is provided through: Home Visitation, Community Kitchen, Parenting classes, Parent & Child activities. Program also provides referrals and support to access other resources.
PCAP: TIPS also operates the Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP) in partnership with the Prairie Central FASD Network, which addresses prevention/early support needs of pregnant women and/or mothers of infants.

Meets the needs of youth ages 11-24 years who find themselves at risk. Services range from provision of physical needs to opportunities for healing and hope. Supports are also available for young adults with FASD. Outreach services include: street outreach, emergency food; housing, advocacy and training for people who support youth in our community (community helpers). The Open Door's PEER Connections program operates Cafe Connections and the Good Food Box that provide hands-on employability and life skills development and paid work experience.

Diabetic clients welcome. Follow-up care & referral when necessary.
