The SSA Camrose Branch provides support and resources to people suffering Schizophrenia, as well as their friends, spouses, and families. The Unsung Hero Consumer Support program is a social night for people suffering with the illness of schizophrenia which takes place 1st. Tues./month. Branch Office @ 679-4280 or Tony @ 672-5582. This is a time when people affected by schizophrenia can come together and talk to peers. The Family Support Network is a support group designed for families. Strengthening Families is a 10 week workshop which is designed to educate participants about true facts of Schizophrenia. Contact Susan M. @ 780-672-1859 for the Family Support Network.

The Bethany Group manages subsidized seniors' apartment buildings in the City of Camrose, City of Wetaskwin, Millet, New Norway, Bashaw & Ferintosh. These buildings feature self-contained suites and common areas where residents can gather together. The Bethany Group also has two non-subsidized buildings - Lakeside Village and Hillside Village, which are condo-style life lease apartments intended for retirement living. Range of suite sizes, features and options available.
